Ultrasonic Cleaning is a safe and efficient modern procedure which ensures perfect cleaning within the shortest time possible.  It has many advantages over ordinary cleaning methods.  Ultrasonics can remove even the most tenacious deposits from parts which would be difficult to reach by hand, it also reduces the risk of injury or infection which may occur during manual cleaning.

The ultrasonic cleaning mechanism consists of an ultrasonic generator which produces ultrasonic vibrations within a cleaning solution (liquid) at a frequency of around 45,000 oscillations per second.

These micro-vibrations within the liquid create microscopic bubbles by cavitation.  The bubbles then implode and generate acoustic shock energy which removes even the most ingrained dirt, particularly from parts that traditional cleaning methods cannot reach.

SONICA PCB
Aqueous based cleaning solution for  PCBs.

The SONICA PCB cleaning fluid removes flux residues and organic dirt from PCBs.  The product does not contain CFCs, is not flammable and is compatible with most plastic materials.  As always a compatibility test is recommended before use on particular sensitive materials. 

METHOD OF USE:

 Use of the pure product is recommended (do not dilute).  Pour the SONICA PCB fluid directly into the ultrasonic cleaning tank.  At least 10 minutes of cleaning with ultrasonics is advised.  After cleaning extract the clean PCBs and wash thoroughly with warm tap water to remove any cleaning fluid left on the PCBs.  Next rinse with de-ionised water to remove any residues left by the tap water.  Leave to dry.
